The Canon EOS R6 V is a compact full frame mirrorless camera developed specifically for content creators who want cinematic video as well as razor-sharp photos. The camera is built around a 32.5-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor and fully tuned for high-quality video production.

Thanks to the DIGIC X processor, the R6 V records 7K footage at 60 fps in RAW, with a huge amount of data for maximum flexibility in post-production. You also film in 4K up to 120 fps and in 2K and Full HD up to 180 fps. In Open Gate format the camera uses the entire sensor in 3:2, so you can crop afterwards to 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for social media or any other ratio without losing image quality. Several Canon Log settings give extra control over colour.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II works from EV -6.5 to 21, so autofocus stays reliable in low light. The camera automatically recognises people, animals and vehicles and tracks eyes, faces, heads and bodies; with Register People Priority you register up to 10 people who get priority when focusing. The 5-axis image stabilisation of up to 7.5 stops reduces shake when filming handheld. Active cooling with a fan and vents keeps the temperature stable during intensive use, reducing the risk of overheating during long high-resolution recordings.

The R6 V is focused on video but is certainly suitable for photography too: the 32.5-megapixel sensor gives room to crop, the electronic shutter shoots up to 40 frames per second, and internal 12-bit RAW keeps plenty of image information. The dust- and water-resistant body weighs just 598 grams and has 12 customisable buttons and a 7.5 cm tilting touchscreen with 1.62 million dots. The camera is compatible with all Canon RF and RF-S lenses. Via the multi-function shoe and an external microphone you record four audio channels, with UVC/UAC you use the camera as a webcam or livestream source in 4K 60 fps without extra software, and you connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2.

The Canon RF 16mm F/2.8 STM is an ultra-wide-angle lens for architecture photography, wide views and vlog videos. It is made for enthusiastic photographers looking for a compact and light RF wide-angle lens for general use.

The large f/2.8 aperture with seven blades is strong in low light and creates smooth bokeh with soft backgrounds. You can also focus from just 13 cm and discover fine details with 0.26x magnification, and the minimum aperture of f/22 lets you capture edge-to-edge sharpness.

The built-in STM motor delivers smooth, quiet autofocus while filming, and the Lens Control Ring gives you direct control over settings. Weighing just 165 grams and measuring 69.2 x 40.2 mm, the lens is discreet, compact and easy to take along.
