The Zeiss Conquest Apia 85 Angled is a spotting scope with a large 85 mm objective and angled viewing. The angled viewing ensures a relaxed viewing posture, even during long observation sessions and when looking upwards or from a low position. The large objective delivers excellent detail recognition at long range, making the scope ideally suited to birdwatchers and nature lovers who want to follow their subject for a long time and in comfort.

The Zeiss HD concept with FieldFlattener Technology delivers bright, high-contrast images with excellent detail reproduction right to the edges of the field of view. ED glass and aspherical lenses suppress chromatic aberration, while the Zeiss T* multicoating and phase-corrected roof prisms ensure maximum brightness and sharpness. With a light transmission of 86% you retain a bright image even at dusk, and the magnification range of 24–60x takes you from a wide overview to precise identification at long range.

The focus knob is positioned in front of the tripod foot, so you can always reach it comfortably, and the focus wheel runs from close-up to infinity in 1.2 turns. Thanks to the supplied Throw Lever you operate focus and zoom with one hand, without taking your fingers off the wheel. The fixed, rotatable tripod foot with 3/8" thread and 1/4" reducer is optimised for stable use on a tripod. The robust housing of aluminium and magnesium with rubber armour is waterproof and nitrogen-filled against fogging, and the Zeiss LotuTec coating makes water, dirt and fingerprints bead off the glass.
