Tamron TAP-in Console Canon
The Tamron TAP-in Console Canon lets you update the firmware of selected lenses and adjust their settings. You do this by attaching the Tamron TAP-in Console to the mount of your lens and connecting it to your computer with the supplied USB cable. With the TAP-in software for Mac and Windows, you update your lens firmware and set custom settings.
With the Tamron TAP-in Console you can fine-tune the focus of your lens, set the focus limiter, adjust the full-time manual focus override and choose between different VC modes. Of course, this only applies to lenses that offer these features. You can also update the firmware of both your lens and the TAP-in itself, without having to visit a Tamron Customer Service Center. All you need is the TAP-in and an internet connection. The Tamron TAP-in Console Canon makes your lens more versatile and easier to use!
The Tamron SP lenses with Canon EF mount that were recently introduced (in 2016) are compatible with the TAP-in Console straight from the factory. Tamron SP lenses introduced in 2015 first need to be updated to the latest software version at a Tamron Center before you can use the TAP-in with these lenses.
