With the Sony FE 8-14mm f/3.5 Fisheye G you change the way you capture the world. Turn the zoom ring and you switch from a circular fisheye at 8mm to a full diagonal fisheye at 14mm, both with an impressive angle of view up to 180°. On an APS-C camera you also get a diagonal fisheye in the intermediate position. With the zoom lock you quickly and securely fix each of these three positions, so you choose exactly the perspective that strengthens your story.

The premium G optics are built up from 16 elements in 13 groups, including three aspherical elements (één ED aspherical) and four ED elements. This advanced construction delivers sharpness from the centre right into the corners, with true-to-life colours, high contrast and minimal colour aberrations. The constant f/3.5 aperture across the entire range makes the lens excellently suited to low-light situations, such as the starry sky, interiors and evening city streets. A fluorine coating on the front element keeps dirt and moisture out, while the compact, light design of just 314 grams in a durable engineering-plastic housing ensures you take it along effortlessly anywhere.

The lens is just as strong in video and VR. Two linear motors provide fast, quiet autofocus with minimal focus breathing, and with the clickless aperture ring you adjust the exposure smoothly and silently while filming. Set the focus switch to FH (Focus Hold) and you lock the manually set focus, so it does not shift during long video or VR recordings. The Linear Response MF focus ring responds precisely to every movement of your hand, and with the assignable focus-hold button you keep your favourite function within reach.
