An exclusive result of the collaboration between Leica Sport Optics and the leading manufacturer of ballistic software: Applied Ballistics. Here, the probability of actually hitting the desired target is calculated. The reliability of the four most important parametres - distance, wind speed, rifle accuracy, muzzle velocity of the bullet - is evaluated. From this, their influence on possible deviations from the optimal shot is calculated. The result of the Shot Probability Analysis appears as a percentage within the field of view. This allows the shooter to decide quickly and safely whether he wants to take the shot or whether it is better to further improve the shooting conditions.
